Hi, I’m Sabrina — tutor, home‑education group leader, and mum to four wonderful children. I started Halford’s Tutoring Services because I wanted to create the kind of learning environment I wished existed for my own children: calm, encouraging, flexible, and full of opportunities to grow.
I teach children aged 5 - 16 across Maths, English, and Science, always focusing on building confidence first. When children feel safe, understood, and supported, everything else follows naturally.
Alongside tutoring, I run weekly meetups, creative activities, and community sessions around Nottingham, giving home‑educated children a place to connect, explore, and enjoy learning together. My mission is simple — to help every child feel capable, valued, and excited about what they can achieve.
My Teaching Philosophy
I believe every child deserves a calm, reassuring learning environment where they can grow at their own pace. My lessons are structured, gentle, and designed to build confidence gradually.
